Prepseen

Prepseen — Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 July 2026 Provider: Prepseen (“we”, “us”) Contact: support@prepseen.app

By creating an account or using Prepseen, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. What Prepseen is

Prepseen is an interview-practice tool. It records your spoken answers, transcribes them on your device, researches the company and (where you ask) named interviewers, and uses AI to generate practice questions and feedback. Your voice recordings stay on your device; your written practice data (roles, transcripts, feedback, prep notes) syncs to your account so it follows you across devices (see the Privacy Policy).

We offer two ways to run the AI:

2. Accounts

3. Credits, purchases, and the Merchant of Record

4. Refunds, chargebacks, and account suspension

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

You are responsible for how you use AI-generated output and any information you gather about third parties.

6. AI output — no guarantees, not professional advice

7. Your content

8. Intellectual property; license to use Prepseen

The Prepseen source code is made available under the open-source MIT license in our public repository, and your use of that code is governed by the MIT license terms. These Terms instead govern the hosted managed service (accounts, credits, our inference proxy) and the Prepseen name, logo, and branding, which are proprietary to Prepseen. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the hosted service for your own interview preparation. Nothing here grants you rights in the Prepseen brand.

9. Third-party services

Prepseen depends on third parties (Anthropic, Clerk, Paddle, PostHog, hosting, and others). Their terms govern their parts of the service, and we’re not responsible for their acts or omissions. Availability of managed features may depend on these providers.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate. [Some jurisdictions don’t allow these exclusions; where that’s so, they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits non-excludable statutory consumer guarantees.]

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prepseen will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, or interview/employment outcomes. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for credits in the 3 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50. This clause does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud), and does not limit non-excludable statutory consumer rights.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Prepseen against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms or law, or your handling of information about third parties.

13. Changes to the service and these Terms

We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. For material changes we’ll update the effective date and provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them. If you don’t agree, stop using the service; any unused credits remain non-refundable but you may continue to use them until your access ends.

14. Termination

You may stop using Prepseen and delete your account at any time (see Privacy Policy §10). We may suspend or terminate access as described in §4. On termination, your license ends. Unused credits are non-refundable, and are forfeited if we terminate or suspend your account for breach of these Terms, fraud, or a chargeback (§4). This does not affect any mandatory statutory refund right you may have.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

16. Miscellaneous

These Terms (with the Privacy Policy and any Paddle buyer terms that apply to your purchase) are the entire agreement between you and us about the service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a right isn’t a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor.
